At 199 feet tall this is the 2nd tallest cross in the U.S. This fantastic cross is located on the beautiful campus of First Baptist Church of Central Florida at 700 Good Homes Road, Orlando, FL, (approximately 10 minutes from I-4).
The church first began in 1953 as a small gathering, and received it's present name in 1994. Sunday attendance is approximately 1,800 with two morning services. There is also a private school with more than 400 students enrolled in grades KG-12, with 33 teachers.
Orlando is often referred to as a boom town. In a beautiful setting of many inland lakes citrus trees and within 1 hr drive to the beaches, and an average temperature of 72.8.
